Most people do believe in this statement and the remaining people just make it ‘calculated risk’ in place of ‘risk’ and then they are also OK with the statement. I differ; until the risk is so much calculated that there is 100% surety that even if there is no profit, there will be no loss at least. Then technically, it is no more a risk actually.

Life doesn’t give warning messages, mostly. There are risks by default in every action. We should try minimizing them rather than adding to them. I have seen successful people who took big risks in their life and also, I have seen people getting equally successful without taking risks. In both these categories, I think that people who took risk were luckier, as even after taking a risk they succeeded! So if you think that you are luckier than the 'normal' masses, then you may choose to take the risks. On the other side, I have seen people ruined and dispossessed of almost every enjoyment they originally had, just because their ‘big risky step’ did not take them to the right direction. But I have not seen anyone losing everything because of not taking a risk. So in the end, I ordered my brain to compile these stats and present the results in 'human readable' form for me. It obeyed. The results presented by it were as follows:
Master! (I still rule my heart and brain), you have seen four types of people, videlicet

1. Who have not taken any risk and not lost anything (neither losers nor gainers),
2. Who have taken risks and lost most of it (losers),
3. Who have not taken risks and achieved things (gainers),
4. Who have taken risks and achieved things (gainers).

So the calculations say if you want to be a gainer, you have two options: 1. Take risks or 2. Don’t take risks. And if you want to be a loser then you have only one option: 1. Take risks!

In other words, it can be explained as this: The fruits of good and bad are attached with each other in this world; your work is to separate the bad from the good and consume the good. If you choose to take the risk of not separating these two and consuming the whole fruit as it is, then in fact you are running away from your duty by choosing the easier path. Of course taking risk is the easier path, anyone can do it by putting in less thoughts. The mettle of your effort is proved in not being swayed by the tempting results and making a risk free, intelligent decision.

Just two clicks!

What kind of book would you like to read on a weekend?(answers)

Unforgettable Future

Returning to the earth
Birth after birth
To realise own worth
Searching abundance in dearth

Impossible it may seem
Chase those dreams
With hope and esteem
By laser like beams

Some may be fulfilled
Others yet to be
Persevere and explore
Learning will be the key

Float on the moon
Dance on the mars
Illumine in the sun
Sparkle in the stars

Visualise that picture
Internalise that scripture
Time to nurture
An unforgettable future

© Deepak L. I did not want to get laid-off, but it happened …and I wanted get a job again without a break, then that too happened! So I saw that most of the things are not under my or anybody’s control, but what is more important is to remain awake and see what is happening, how is it happening and what is there to learn from it. Luckily I learnt some good stuff from this episode. After every such learning, I feel more awake.

By default, there is darkness in this universe. You need sources of light to see the path. At different stages of life, we get different torch-bearers in the form of gurus. These gurus don’t pour any magical syrup into your body …they just make you awake; more awake. They tell you where are you standing and what is there ahead on the path. When I was in school, I had school teachers to guide me, then after I got into college, I got college teachers and then in the job I got mentors in the company. Outside the boundaries of specific studies and job, there are teachers of life too. For every turn of life and every new destination, there is an appointed guru for everyone. One day someone had told me that one should choose his guru very carefully and after six years I think that I have started understanding its meaning.

Often, getting on to conclusions of abstract teachings is not very easy. These are not the mathematical equations which are bound to give you the desired and expected results, but still I will try. From the latest Guru, Dr Deepak, what I have learnt is to identify my strengths and liabilities. Identifying what best and worst can happen to me at the time when I am in a problem. Then using my strengths how can I work for the best and knowing my liabilities how can I prepare for the worst. And this is what I would call as the ‘waking up’. A satisfaction of the realization that you really tried, is much more than getting the desired results without putting in efforts. So whenever life gives you a bang, you should know that it’s time to wake up!

What is progress?

I write an article, I like it, I read it again and I like it again, people praise it. I was a research trainee at the most coveted IC Design group of Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute of India. We were a total of 4 research trainees in that group. Vikram, Shailly, Pooja and myself. Dr Chandra Shekhar and Dr A S Mandal were the ones by whom we could learn most about IC Designing during our training period. Other two of our favorite scientists in the group were Dr S C Bose, yes the full name was Dr Subhash Chandra Bose :), and Dr Raj Singh. Though Dr Raj Singh never sang for us, but still I always felt that if he will sing, he will totally sound like Jagjit Singh. One more highly skilled scientist, Dr Sudhir Sharma, was there. This post is about him. Dr Sudhir was younger brother of Dr Chandra Shekhar and was mostly responsible for keeping us trainees in proper discipline at CEERI.

Apparently, Dr Sudhir was the strictest scientist in the group. Though he never talked to us, but still his aura was such that even if he passed by any of us trainees, our overall productivity of the day used to increase. In that particular day then, what all we used to do was working only and absolutely no chattering. And if somehow he talked to us, of course a technical question-answer session, then that whole week used to become a ‘no chatting’ week for us. Apart from being a nerd and knowledge model for many VLSI technocrats of the world, another few features of Dr Sudhir are that Dr Sudhir is unmarried and is an ardent reader and follower of Bhagwat Gita. He is a spiritually elite personality and I think he remembers the whole of Gita, shalok by shalok. In fact I got to know about his these qualities when somehow I got into his contact by discussing some spiritual thoughts which I heard from my father. I told him that my father also is a regular Gita reader and has read it around 30 times. This helped me getting closer to Dr Sudhir and getting bestowed with some enlightening lectures. Discussion about all those lectures is out of the scope of this post, so I will jump on to the purpose of this post now.

It was that special day, by which I had started to think that I have got close enough to Dr Sudhir and now I can ask him any kind of foolish doubts also. So I asked one.

“Sir, can I please know as to why are we trainees so afraid of you. Why don’t you talk to us like other scientists of the group do. By not talking to you, we are missing a lot of information about technical stuff and life, which we can get here,” I submitted innocently. Dr Sudhir immediately got it that I have misunderstood his being a little frank with me, but still he chose to answer my question.

“Balak, there are four types of people in this world: 1. Ones who are fools, and they don’t know they are fools – beware of them; 2. Ones who are fools, and they know they are fools – help them; 3. Ones who are wise, but they don’t know they are wise – pity them; 4. And ones who are wise, who know they are wise – follow them. And, Balak, you are the first category, that’s why I beware of you trainees,” Dr Sudhir said calmly and we kept quiet for some time after that.

“Sir, now that you have told me that I am a fool, I know that I am a fool. So I fall into the second category now. I guess that I get to talk to you and get helped now. Am I correct?” I asked suddenly and I first time saw Dr Sudhir smiling.

“Yes, you are correct,” I heard the golden words.

If you want peace, be prepared for war!

This is one another mantra of life which I have inherited from my family. I would call a person a looser if he purports only the literal meaning of this phrase. Of course literally also the quote is valid and has its own significance, but it makes much more sense to me when I relate it to general life. To me, it translates like this: ‘If I want to achieve a target, I need to get myself working for it’. Not only is it satisfying to know that you wanted to achieve a goal and you achieved it, but this is also a nice feeling to know that you looked for a target and you worked for it… even if you couldn't get the desired result! It is far better than realizing that you wanted something and you did nothing to get it.

It is my experience that continuous dedicated endeavors to get on the desired stage, most likely land you there… and in the remaining cases; you get a better stage in disguise. Whatever the result has come might not be the best of all the results, but it is the appropriate one for you at that moment… because, may be, better than the best is in store for you! We don't know where we come from, we don't know where we are going, but its about the journey… and if we are able to make it a satisfying one, our purpose is solved. Do the right and fear no man, this will automatically bring peace in the life. Making a judgment of what to fight for is equally important as fighting.

Everyone needs a peaceful life. Anyone, who even doesn’t know what he wants from life, wants peace. I have many times wondered as to what is the purpose of life of a human being. Why at all the very first human on earth was needed. Out of many possible answers, the one which strikes me best is that the purpose of life is living! And it is not possible to live without progressing. Then to progress, you have to fight, you have to work. By playing around with words like ‘everyone needs a peaceful life’ and ‘for living, you have to fight’ etc, someone can easily derive the sentence “If you want peace, be prepared for war” …but actually living this phrase is a wonderful experience worth having in life.

Rules to win !!

…96, 97, 98, 99 and 100… my dad completed counting the pack of 100 rupee notes while I was eagerly waiting for my doubts to be cleared which came into my mind as I watched him counting them. Doubts were very simple and kind of obvious to be there for a kid like me (I was 12 at that time), but I never knew that the answer which I am going to get will become the guideline for my life.

When he was counting those notes, I saw him turning and flipping a few notes in between and stacking them in the same order as other notes in his hands… finally having all notes with each one's GandhiJi facing in the same direction. Why, even at the cost of that slight delay in the counting, is he interested in keeping them in order, was the doubt which clearly crept in my mind during that counting process. But having an idea and experience of the fact that counting hundred notes again can be a tiresome job, I did not interrupt him till he finished counting. And now it was my turn to speak which I utilized by asking this doubt. The answer bestowed on me was this:

"Money, Power and Knowledge are very important three things which have their own rules to be kept. If you don't follow their rules, you won't be able to enjoy these things for long. One of the rules is 'keep these things in proper order and they will serve you'. And when you say 'proper order' with respect to money, it covers the order of keeping, stacking, counting, spending, investing and doing everything with money. And I was not consciously putting in any extra effort to set a pattern while counting these notes, it was out of my habit that I was putting things, notes in this case, in proper order."

Today after 13 years of my this question-answer session with my dad, I really feel myself lucky that this incidence happened at that time. Whenever I succeed in any project of my life, on reviewing it back I always find that I had followed the 'rules'. Whether it's the rule of putting things in order from the beginning, or honesty, or working without anxiety for the result, or not showing off your wealth and power or any other such 'guru mantra', it has to be there behind every success.

Wait for a better post ;)

“Waiting”… one of the toughest jobs I have ever known and done. May it be for anything… waiting for exams to get over, for the result, for the flight, for a ‘yes’, for 6:00 PM on weekdays, for weekends, for your turn to play next match, in the queue, for the mail, for a call, for just anything. Probably that is why we do not and rather, we should not know our own future… because anything we come to know, we will have to wait for it to happen and every moment we will start thinking about it alone without putting ourselves to our work . Think this, everything will seem to be so managed and well calculated by the Almighty, that you will just feel like enjoying the life.

Also, this whole process has its own charm and significance. If we get a result after a long wait, we very well know its importance. The course of waiting teaches us a lot of things. During this ‘waiting period’, most of the times we are accompanied by a very good feeling… that is, ‘Hope’. Whatever may be the destination of the long wait, but this hope makes the journey enticing. Another wonderful art which is taught by waiting is ‘Patience’. Many times, we feel, “I could have waited more…” This only means that we still need to learn how to wait. Sometimes it so happens that while waiting for thing ‘x’ to happen, I get an idea which helps me a lot for getting the thing ‘y’ done. This definitely brings out a better person out of us.

Sometimes I ponder as to why waiting is so difficult. It becomes yet more difficult, when mixed with an amount of anxiety and excitement, which otherwise are the basics of the human nature. Also it depends upon the company of the person you are with. Some people have that amazing talent of making hours appear like years for you :-/. Anyway, whatever may be the arguments, the fact is that there is no great achievement that is not the result of patient working and waiting. Also, there is no course for ‘speed-waiting’ which can help you wait an hour in just ten minutes. So, wait efficiently!

Macky... the Hairy MuscleMan!

Lets die to see what the hell they have kept in heaven to make it so damn craved!! Who else can be imagined saying this? I have never seen such a carefree man before. I first time encountered Mayank Ahuja alias Macky, live, in the second semester of my college. We six, first year guys were chilling down in one of our hostel rooms, listening to some soft music from Kalra’s royal, one of its kind in the hostel, music system. Out of us six, four were notorious for recently performing the “inhuman” act of stripping 27 other hostel mates mischievously for making their fun in front of the rest of the hostel. None of us could ever expect that while that striping episode was so fresh, two unknown lads will dare kick open the door of our room! It was Macky’s hefty leg which was used for that kick… and by the time we could understand anything, Macky, followed by Gulati entered our room and merrily headed towards Kalra’s music system. Both of them were in some kind of extreme joy and were jovially repeating the lines of the party song Brazil… La la la la in their coarse voices. While Gulati started flying in the room around our beds, Macky stopped the cassette being played in the deck, put his own party album song’s cassette and drowned himself in the mystic song which he was earlier singing and now listening. We, the residents of the room, looked at each other to have an understanding with our eye talk, that these guys need a lesson to be taught. One of us bolted the room from inside for the delivery of ‘The Lesson’ and after around 10 to 15 minutes of that they were released when Gulati started crying and Macky got ready to fight. So this was how we met Macky for the first time.

Now Macky is the moderator of our online google group “Deckiez”. Macky is the guy who is most of the times upset with people around him with or without any genuine reason. He really wants to enjoy every moment of his life and most of the times, he doesn’t know how to do it… so at times he comes out with some dangerous ideas like bolting the hostel warden’s house door from outside and kicking it at 5:00 am in the morning in the chilling month of December. After getting a job and a posting in Gurgaon, every weekend he will call me to make a trip to Jaipur driving ourselves. I could never understand the urge of this weird demand. Anyways, the better part is that he is always alive and kicking! After our trip to Nainitaal at Banga’s house, I have always seen Macky as the muscleman of our group :D…. The Muscleman with lots and lots of hair on the body.. even on shoulders and back and every where. Nainitaal episode needs another blog to be explained. Another quality of Macky which should not be missed in this post is that I have always seen him trying to improve. His this feature inspires me also.

I have many memories with Macky. Going to Gymkhana Club in Faridabad and enjoying games there without any membership, being caught by a traffic-police man for over speeding Baniya’s scooter, being his room mate in the last semester, having a party at Macky’s brother’s big guest house…every thing was just wonderful! For sure, I have not covered the complete Macky in this blog, but this is most of it as I know him. So friends, this ‘Macky post’ has again started the series of blogs on Deckiez… just wait for your turn!

5 steps to a good laugh.

1. After eleven months, I am visiting my home country and before going to meet my parents and relatives, I thought of doing some shopping for them. Sumit, Amit and Alka came with me …Sumit and Amit also had to do some shopping as they are also going to visit their homes after long and Alka joined us on our request to bestow the benefits of her shopping-experience expertise on us.

2. We went to Taka in Toa Payoh for buying some products. I was wearing an Orange color nike T-shirt, Sumit wore a T-shirt with stripes and it doesn’t matter what Amit and Alka wore. This was an important thing to be told for a good laugh in the end, believe me!

3. We chose our items one by one and handed them over to the handsome Chinese salesman who was very politely and efficiently catering us all. He collected all the items at one place, probably without the knowledge that we will ask him to bill us all separately.

4. After we were done with all the selections, we requested him to make separate boxes for us, to which he immediately got ready with a big smile on his face. The smile was big because the total bill was around S$1500. Then he started separating our items and did it fast.

5. Pointing towards me he said, “Sir, I believe that these are all of your selections.” I nodded. He then marked that pack with ‘O’, to remember that this is for the guy wearing ‘O’range color T. After this he turned to Sumit and showed him his selections and got ratification from Sumit also. Then, he took out his pen again to put an identification mark for Sumit’s pack also, which I thought would be an ‘S’ because Sumit was wearing a ‘S’tripes T, but instead, he swiftly drew three stripes (something like this ‘=’) on Sumit’s pack and moved further for Amit. Then I realized that for me, he didn’t write the letter ‘O’, but he drew a picture of the fruit Orange and I laughed :D !!

PS: Mandarin has a pictorial script.

Life's Formula One !

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Pg5QwWElFu8/SODo9FvjkdI/AAAAAAAAABU/cjBQWrU8GAg/s200/blur.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5251453301725303250" />
28th September 2008. Another humid day of Singapore for many… and a bit special for me and Fernando Alonso of Spain. Alonso was crowned Formula One's prince of darkness on this Sunday, after streaking to the chequered flag at the sport's first night-time grand prix in Singapore. And I turned 25 years old happy bachelor on this day. Almost the same achievement for both of us and it definitely calls for some celebration… so here it goes … \o/ ! :) ! \o\ .|... \o/ ...|. /o/ ! :) ! \o/ … Ok I am done.

Though I don’t follow F1 very much, but still I went to watch this race, as for the first time in sports history, it was being conducted at night. And really, it was worth being at the event. The moment I got down at the City Hall MRT station, the venue, a splash of deafening sound hurt my ears. Then after some fractions of a second, I heard another such bang followed by a series of irregularly-timed noisy bangs. These were the F1 cars crossing the nearest edge of the track… and I got assured that we have reached near to something very exciting. Finally when I saw the first car passing by and disappearing within seconds, the noise was justified! I first time saw anything moving so fast on earth. Sometimes the cars squeezed out sparks from the track. When I was wondering how exciting it can be for the drivers of these cars, I got to know that after every race, the drivers lose around two to three kilograms of their body weight due to heavy sweating and vibrations !! So good for them… no need to go for dieting and food restraining, just go for one or two races and you are back in shape :)! Another interesting fact I got to know about F1 is that such a fast moving and exciting game can also be paused and suspended in between, while the cars still running on the track! This is done by putting safety car on the track, which is supposed to be driven by any ex-F1 player. When a safety car is on the track, no player is allowed to overtake this car and everyone keeps following the safety car with a constant speed! However, the safety car itself runs with a speed of 250 Km/hrs ! Moreover, these racing cars are capable of catching a speed of upto 350 Km/hrs starting from 0 within 4 seconds. Amazing!! Ok, enough of exclamation signs and amazing facts about F1. After all it was my B’day also.

Anyways, though there is not much to talk about the B’day thing, but still, as I have touched the quarter century, I think I can wave my bat for this because centuries are not very common in the aging game. By the way, I feel that this life is also like a Formula One race and these B’days are like the laps we clear every year. If we are competent enough, we can also beat the life track and kick the sparks out of it. We may lose some weight in the end of the race, but for sure that is the bulk we don’t need and at its cost it is always worth to be a part of such an exciting game. Moments do come when we have to slow down and give a pause to our acceleration, but it is always safe to follow the God’s safety car in those moments. The important thing is to keep moving and regaining your lost speed in the minimum possible time.

Mind your dreams.

Choose your dreams carefully; you never know which one comes true! That is why I believe in day-dreaming more than relying on the old traditional way of having a night dream while in sleep and then interpreting its meaning after hard efforts of recalling the exact dream. Day dreaming is simple and fun. If compared with night dreams, day dreams can be explained as kind of “modern technology dreams”. Just think about any situation and be the hero of the story. If something undesired happens in the thought plot, pause thinking further, go back, erase and modify the script of the dream so that it remains enjoyable and pleasant through-out, and move ahead in your heroic episode. Simple!! Doesn’t it give a feeling of ‘good GUI, user friendly, easy to use and good controllability’ kind of features? For further emphasizing on my point I can say it not only gives you a break from cudgels and wrangles of life, but is also a good mind exercise. Whereas in night dreams, no one in the world can save you if you are sliding down in a deep ditch full of filthy animals scarier than comodo dragons. Remember what made you piss in the bed when you were a kid? Yes, scary night dreams!!

Also everyone will agree, when people say "Dreams come true", they are actually referring to the day dreams. I am into this day-dreaming affair since my childhood and I believe that now I have attained a level of ‘expertise’ in doing it. Now I have learnt how to visualize a bit more feasible and meaningful dreams and yet them being amusing and pleasant. Its very easy in fact. Just try to implement what you dream and soon you will know what to dream. Tame your dreams and use them for your frenetic persuasions towards your aims. Ornate your aim with your dreams and nobody shall dare stop your march towards it.

Earlier I thought that only I knew about this little secret recreational recipe… but later I found that almost everyone does it to some extent depending on his creativity and imagination. So its only that I do it a bit more… of course ;). The range of my dreams ranges from dreaming of being the next Bill Gates to cooking of mushroom-peas as delicious as my mom cooks it. But one thing I should say here is that people who don’t do it, they are missing a part of their life… the part where they are the Shah Rukh Khans of their every little movie. Yes, its like a non-stop hit movie channel… switch it on whenever you want some fun! And then to sum up such a blog, what better than saying “You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time. The only difference between we writers and other people is we notice when we're doing it :).”

Tomorrow never dies.

Never say ‘never’, when you can say ‘tomorrow’!

Mom: When are you going to start your preparation for examinations?
Me: Tomorrow.

Room-mate: Get up… we decided to start going for morning walk from today.
Me: You go ahead buddy, I will start joining you from Tomorrow!

Colleague: I think we should do some extra learning work other than our company work.
Me: Yeah … we should…. But we will start tomorrow.

Friend: Dude, I think you should propose Neha now… Its long since you have been telling me how pretty she is.
Me: Ok, I’ll propose her tomorrow.

Sometimes I think how difficult it would have been for me without this magical word. I think every one of us somehow learns how to use this word tactfully. I mean, for instance, in the case of above questions, ‘tomorrow’ is an obvious answer for most of us… but still before finally uttering this word, most of us pretend as if we are calculating hard to tell when. Yes, procrastination is a sin. But still we sometimes need some time to give it a better start. Its not everyday that your efficiency is at its peak. So I think, its not that “bad” saying ‘tomorrow’.

This is absolutely not the encouragement to put everything on tomorrow, but a consolation if you could not or can not make it today. And as they say “Its never too late to start”, so why not to make it tomorrow then ;). It is such a fun when you are successfully able to convince yourself that you can safely do it tomorrow…. provided you are not over-looking and suppressing your inner conscience for this decision. And still greater fun is when you complete that task the next day then. I really respect the famous saying “Kaal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab; pal me pralay hoyegi, bahuri karega kab.”… but my innocent query at this is – Why such a fuss? Why do you want to pull the complete string today, even at the risk of its breaking down!!.. and if life can end anytime(pal me pralay hoyegi), then after that how does it matter whether you did it or not.

Anyways, I don’t want to be adamant on my logics as of now, because these are against present day ideal statements. But as my other spontaneous thoughts, I just wanted these also to be penned down here in this blog. I am eagerly waiting to know who all second my thoughts, and also the contradictory statements to know how wrong I am to think in a different way.

Is there any solution?

Some times I wonder, why don’t we hear terms like NRA (Non-Resident American) or NRB (Non-Resident British) or any Non-Resident European. Why is it that only we feel so good and excited about being out of our country? What makes our own country so less attractive for us? What comforts and discomforts do we buy in being away from our Home? Or even do we really feel good in being out of our home land? Ever since I passed out of my college, I was really excited about going abroad to work. The reasons were better living standard, better work environment, better earning and learning. After some two plus years of working in India, I moved out to Singapore and really felt the difference which I was looking for. But still, it is not as satisfying as it would have been to see my own country changing for good.

What comes into my mind about India is that we are really a nation which needs a drastic amelioration. Tomes have been written about what needs to be improved in our country and what all is screwed up in India. But still the percentage of actual improvement seems to be so bleak, that it doesn’t give any hope. When Tata sets up a promising Nano plant in Singur, Mamta Banerjee sits on a dharna to make sure that any kind of development is rooted-out from the place. When Abhinav Bindra wins a gold medal for India and creates history, Shobha De writes an article to compare Abhinav’s success with a roadside slum girl’s life irony to put a dearth in the country’s celebration. Soldiers die in Kashmir in an effort to make value to the cost country has paid to stand with integrity since so many years now and suddenly, Arundhiti Roy pops up to get some publicity with a statement that Kashmir should be peacefully gifted to the neighbors. Why do we hate any kind of progress so much? On top of this, we're perilously corrupt, and it's beginning to infuse our democracy with a sense of hopelessness and pessimism. We've come to accept such detriments as bribery and nepotism as part of our interactions with the political and administrative system. This is a ruinous trend. If the system of implementation and delivery is so corrupt and inefficient, no policy - meticulously planned, thoroughly researched and well-intentioned though it may be - will be able to carry out what it promises.

Despite the above sad situation and the fact that I myself am living in a developed country, I wont hesitate to put a word like pathetic for the “desis” obsessed with a feeling of residing in some foreign land and “enjoying” the luxuries of a developed country. I also have sense of sympathy for such expatriates who can only curse the condition of their own country and remain satisfied with only a percentage of the facilities being thrown at them by the government of their country of residence as compared to the natives of that country. It is far better to dream of practically impossible solutions to the problems, rather than just blaspheming about the problems. Though, this is yet another article with a lot of problems and no solutions, but the comments with any kind of solutions are welcome… rather sought.

Correspondence with God

From me to God:
Hi Buddy,

How are you? I am fine with Your grace. Hope this finds you when you are not very busy… even if it doesn't so happen, its ok… because at least you are reading it. As you know, I always wanted to grow up fast since my childhood. Today, I am not sure if I have grown up or not, but I want to thank you for whatever you have done to me. Well, now I have another wish… may be not as common and simple as my previous one to grow up. Now I want to be a kid again. Possible? OK.. let me explain it better. Its not that by living these years again I want to improve or change something in them, but I simply want to live them again… exactly the same way I have lived them till now. I want only one difference in this reiteration, that is, in this new course, I want to remember everything that has already happened to me and not only déjà vu’s :P. What? Am I being too demanding? Whom is it going to cost anyway? I can promise that no one will ever know that I am re-living it and I know everything! No one is going to get hurt in this process. Why do I want to do so? Because I want to enjoy every moment again and yet more… even in the low times. I want to appreciate you for so beautifully setting those moments for me.

-Vivek

From God to me:
Dear Vivek,

To begin with, I would like to ask you not to address me informally like "Buddy" on my official email id. These mails can be tracked and such addressing to me may let prevail a suspicion of favoritism. Anyway, nice to see your mail after long. I am good and I know you are also good. I perused your latest demand and I will have to say that this one is also weird. This can not be granted because it will only be a time wastage and I absolutely don’t look for any kind of appreciation or worship from the beings created by myself. However, I have not completely overlooked your wish. Here is an alternate option for you. How about living your rest of the life like your version of “re-living” explained in your letter? I will assure you that everything will happen for good and I have planned the best for you. You just enjoy its every moment to the fullest of extent, even in the low times. Try to see the beauty of whatever I do in that period. After all I am God, I won’t make mistakes in deciding the best for you. What say?

-God

From me to God:
Respected God,

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. The offer seems to be really good. So please let it so happen that you do the best for me and I will keep in mind that someone special is sitting at the helm of my life who will definitely drive me out safely. I may only have to make my balance and enjoy the scene. And yes, I will not address you with informal words in the mails on your official id.

Your Buddy,
Vivek :)

From God to me:

Amen!

Aao Hazoor Tumko Sitaaron Me Le Chaloon…

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Pg5QwWElFu8/SKQwgJN9UAI/AAAAAAAAAAY/vifKHcuMMJ8/s200/DSCN1851.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234361995699769346" />
Good boys go to heaven and bad boys go to Pattaya… we were bad!!

Satya, Raj, Adarsh, Sumit, Amit, Sunil, Prabir and Vivek complete the gang. It was not in one go that everyone ratified the suggestion of flying to Bangkok-Pattaya for the four day holiday trip… the decision was a result of lot of research, discussions and estimations. A return air ticket to Bangkok from Johar Bahru (Malaysia) gave us a good deal and a long chain of Sawasdee Hotels gave us good options. We were confident that if nothing will turn out to be good, we will at least enjoy Raj’s(Chris) company… or may be we will enjoy Raj himself :D. We started from our company. The currency conversion was the best thing to start with which took our money from 3 digits to 4 digits and made us the rich tourists in the ‘land of smiles’.

We knew it that Pattaya was the place for us and not Bangkok, so the very first day we moved to Pattaya from Bangkok and everyone of us turned real himself in Pattaya. Chris succeeded to convince Sumit to be his room-mate in the hotel room and after that, most of the times we found their room bolted from inside. Nobody asked them about this. After all, everyone went there to enjoy! Then Satya managed to get a beggar’s guitar for half an hour in exchange of three cigarettes… he satisfied himself by playing the guitar for some time and meanwhile made some money also for his fags :D. Adarsh, on his way to walking street, made all possible promises to every girl he met on the street and made them all fall in love with him. Amit was the most contented guy amongst us as he could use his MTR’s food packets and enjoy Indian veg food in a foreign country. Prince Prabir didn’t find any casino in Thailand, but he didn’t complain much about it… he cared for the country and its people… though he fulfilled all his royal desires in his own way ;). Sunil, the sony camera guy, clicked some of the best shots of the trip and I have most of them in my orkut album. Me, as always, enjoyed every moment and got a lot of stuff for my this blog.

Walking in the walking street, I am thinking of you...walking in the walking street, I am feeling of you... This self composed song was mercilessly imposed on us by Chris just after returning from the exciting water sports at Koh Lang Island. But we were determined to enjoy and we did it in every condition. Aao Huzoor Tumko Sitaaron Me Le Chaloon… became the favorite song of all of us after seeing the Russian dancers performing on this song beautifully. Finally, the time came when we had to leave Pattaya and come to Bangkok. Our stay in Bangkok was about to go dull but suddenly our taxi driver, Mr Tongpon, realized it and made it a happening for us. He stopped the taxi on the way to airport and threw our bags out in the road side and ran away without taking a single penny from us. We managed to get another taxi in the same price, but till date we are thinking as to why he did so. Any clues on this are welcome in the comments of this blog. Anyway, the overall trip was an enjoying journey and within four days we returned with around 1200 pics!!

The Show Must Go On...

The Show Must Go On...
Raj Kapoor said it, I try to follow it :). These words mean a lot to me as they have taken me out of many bleak periods of my life… yes everyone has them. Though sometimes many people misunderstand these words and producers of serials like Shanti and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi are seen celebrating the completion of 1000th episodes… but otherwise these words are really magical if implemented properly. If seen from a particular point of view, The BhagwatGita, the book of life also gives this message. The literal meaning of letting your show going on means carrying on performing your role to best of your ability without considering the applause or hooting from the public. Likewise Gita also teaches to keep on doing your action without craving for the result.

These, I can say are the beautiful solution words for many problems of life, but as they say that every beautiful thing in this world is either costly or someone else’s wife, these words are also not easy to follow. In life’s ordeals one comes up with myriad reasons and pretexts to give up at many turns and only a few voices who tell to move ahead. Setbacks in life are not always unfortunate and useless… they are infact the portions of our life span for which an appropriate teacher in human embodiment is not appointed by Him. Not everyone’s life is a high budget movie… its only by your performance that you have to make it a hit. Rather than crying on the dullness of the script, we should thank the Producer to give us a break in the lead role.

Happiness and sorrows are the spices of life and a crest means the apex of the wave because of the troughs only… if there were no troughs, it would have been a straight line without any crests. Keeping the colors flowing in is an important art to keep the shows on. These things are easy said than done, but people do them. Along with thinking high, one must keep in mind that one’s life is meant for him to do his best only and not the best of everything. So if, despite your all efforts, your laptop is not giving you milk, then may be you should try coding or playing games or watching movies on your laptop. In all contentment with continuous improvement is the key for a successful completion of your movie. So lets try to get nominated for the best debut actor award ;).

Friday... m li(o)ving it !!!

<meta equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; What a wonderful day they have made. The messenger bringing the news of weekend’s arrival. The day bringing all the long awaited dhaansoo movies starring those hunk heroes and sexiest ever ladies. The day when you have every reason to leave from the office at 5:00 and no one can dare give you a sarcastic look. Its this day when you don’t need to go home after office and you can very well justify your leaving office at 5:00 and reaching home at 11:00. When this day brings us so many reasons to be excited about, it is not possible that we may not have any duties or responsibilities towards this day. It is our responsibility to do justice with the day by utilizing it for all the purposes it is meant for.

Singaporean Flavor

So here is what all should be done on a Friday. No need to change much in your morning routines… ie you can get up in the morning at your usual time like 9:30 or 10:00 and quickly reach office by 10:30*. Then after checking your mails and having the morning session tea, do your office work sincerely… after all a Friday doesn’t mean a Sunday! Then after lunch also, if you can afford, you may work for some time BUT not a single minute of bloody coding and verification after 3:00!! Because now its time for the Friday mela to unveil its charming spell of dizziness -> restlessness -> excitement -> chattering -> masti -> movie -> delicious food -> disc -> and a night out… in almost the same order. So after 3:00 what is supposed to be done is to make a more than perfect planning for an adventurous/exciting outing on Saturday and discuss about the latest movie expected to be present online. By 5:00 it should be crystal clear in your mind that on Saturday you have to go to Macritchie or some Gurudwara or a ferry ride to Bintan… then you go or you may not go, it doesn’t matter at all, but you should be ready with best of plans ever made**.

Indian Flavor

Finally after completing some sequel games of pool and table tennis come out jumping from the company as if your country has got independence from British Rule and there is no menace of partition yet. Then after reaching the most happening hanging place/market of the city, attack the famous gol-gappa wala who might have started recognizing you by now. Taste all the possible flavors with that little extra water in the end and move towards the ticket counter lest it is House-Full for the 11:00 PM show also. Then graciously enter the so called biggest mall ever and inspect all the shops again as if they were craving for your this visit. See if anything worth buying has come this week or it’s still the same ‘no-worth-for-money’ stuff. Meanwhile keep on hovering over the issue of which place to eat at before going to the movie… because otherwise that will take another big chunk of your time. And the moment the eating place is decided and agreed upon by all, immediately move to the place because such moments of everybody’s consent are rare, believe me. After swelling your tummies, reach in the mall of the movie hall for another very important task: rating every passing by girl on a scale of 10! No really, this is very important! They need it badly, otherwise its of no use for them to put on those cloths and heels. Then after entering the hall, its your duty to make sure that everyone enjoys the movie and they should know where in the movie to laugh and when to say wow and when to whistle. Now the only thing left is a slow drive to “room, sweet room” with one stop at that night ice cream parlor which relieves you of all your duties and responsibilities towards the Holy(Fri)day.

*Getting ready in half an hour is an art.

**Making fancy plans is an art.

How is it :)?

The habit of writing blogs is spreading like viral these days. Well may be because I have myself started it recently, I am feeling it to be ‘spreading these days’… but whatever… this is for sure the ‘in’ thing. Even the stars like Amitabh Bachhan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan write their blogs on internet and are using their blogs for publicity and mutual cold wars. Initially, everyone has one's own purpose of writing a blog. This purpose can be anything… like reaching out to friends, improving language or writing skills, a misunderstanding that people are getting addicted to your writing and they don’t want you to stop… it can be anything literally, but later down the line I think it becomes a habit and a kind of addiction. Recently I got to know people who write blogs as a matter of their duty!!.. even they name their posts like week 12, week 13.. and so on… just like we have weekly meetings in our company :D (Jhawar sahib samajh gaye honge aapki baat ho rahi hai ;)

But its good I think. Who knows after some seven thousand years when this computer age will become history and something more confusing will be taught in classes, students will have chapters in their history books – “Blogs by Mahatma Amitabh” or “Writings of Vivek Mittal found and persevered at blogspot.com”. Teachers will tell pupil, “We find very few posts by Sant Shri Amitabh Bachhan ji because he got into bloging all during his late years only. Acharya Vivek Mittal ji’s posts are found and out of his over five thousand creations, one thousand two hundred eighty six have been understood and translated to our normal communication language i.e. #C++. Research work is still going on.” So I think its good to write and record as many things of our present as possible so that our descendants may know us better.

One thing which I have experienced recently is that you don’t have to be jobless to do some writing or reading. For instance, in my case, what all I need to write is a rainy day which are in abundance in Singapore :). If this becomes a hobby, you will just find pretexts to write. Time spent in writing a good blog gives me a far better feeling than time spent in watching an IMDB top listed movie. The best part of writing a blog is that you are just free from any kind of boundaries. You can write about any damn thing using any kind of language and making your own slangs and no body is there to deduct marks on spelling mistakes!! And on top of that… when you pass on your blog link to anyone..., out of formality, the least he/she will tell you is that it was nice. And by chance if that person resonates with your frequency and gets an idea of what you want to convey through your post, then you may get to listen some better words also. All you have to do is… suddenly throw your blog post link to anyone during chatting and ask “How is it :)?”. Then its all the responsibility of other person to read it or at least give a cursory look on the article and praise it. Its tried and tested … it works!!

Its raining...

8th August, 2003 Pilani, Rajasthan.

…and its raining hard. It’s raining after 6 years here. I have just woke up and am trying to convince myself that its not Sunday… its Tuesday and I have to get ready to go to the lab as every other working day. But still, I am excited about many things which happen to me on every working day here. I have to get in the lab and continue with the ideas which will take me towards the completion of my mathematical co-processor… I have to take lectures from some of the finest and most renowned scientists of India… I have to see and gossip with friends – Ruchi, Vikram, Pramod Sir, Shailly, Pooja, Arun Sir, Mukhiya ji. Then after coming from the lab, I have to go to the temple to sit on the stairs there and probably that’s the best part of the day for which I think I wake up every morning. So, after revising all this in 2 or 3 seconds, I get up from my bed and open the back door of my room and a cool breeze along with water sprinkles, kisses me and here starts another day of one of the best era of my life… my life at CEERI, Pilani!!

Past

How did I get here… in CEERI and then in IC Design Group? That will probably need another complete blog to tell. Concisely, my big brother arranged my 7 month’s stay at CEERI as a research trainee there and some sequence of events brought me to IC Design Group. I entered Pilani on 2nd June, the hottest period of the year. Hot air and sand gave me a 46 degree centigrade warm welcome. This was the first time that I had to live all alone… not even the room-mates along. In the name of room-mate, I had a computer, which I didn’t unpack for first 20 days because everyday I thought, “I have to go back and I will have to pack it again”. Yes!! I had thought that if I don’t get into IC Design Group, I will leave CEERI. But luckily I unpacked my computer soon and got one of the very privileged projects anyone could get as an intern trainee from YMCA Institute of Engineering. Gradually I met many good friends and time started flying.

Present

Now I am used to live here and I am enjoying my stay at CEERI. I wake up listening the peacock calls and because it’s the return of rainy season here after around 6 years, it’s not hot and its lush green everywhere. I have developed a bond with all people here. Vikram – my first friend at CEERI, Electronics boy of his college. His Punjabi and Haryanvi jokes and stories… man… you don’t need anything else to pass time. His passion for fighter airplanes could inspire anyone. Pramod Sir – most lively person in CEERI. A localite with a sense of humor and interest for music matching exactly that of mine… not too less, not too much. Pooja – the topper girl!! Big eyes behind those specs… always telling you that you know lesser :D. Shailly – ‘no need to grow up’ attitude girl. The kid of the group. Arun sir – ‘the senior’. Knows almost everything. Always a good company to discuss technical stuff or people around :D. Mukhiya ji – ‘another senior’. He also knows almost everything. Arun sir and Mukhiya ji are from the same college. May be there are all the “seniors” only in that college :D. Ruchi – my best friend at CEERI. My company for sitting on those stairs of the temple.

Future

Things will change fast. Severe winters will come soon. Every evening, we hostel friends will have to sit around the campfire with hot milk tumblers in our hands. My internship will go one month longer than that of Ruchi, Vikram and Pooja’s training. These guys will leave CEERI and I will realize that its not the place, it were these people who made my stay beautiful there. One good thing which will happen during my later stay at CEERI will be that my processor will work! I will start going to the temple with another friend – Amit Shrivastav… but no more sitting on the stairs. This 7 months training will change my life. I will get my first job because of this training. I will become the topper of my 7th semester in the college. I will be a different person after this training. I may write a blog about this training and my life at CEERI.

The paper of future

The fact of being high-resolution display of hundreds of pages of information embodied together and an ability to turn them physically makes books unique and comfortable to use. Although there has been no fundamental or drastic change in books since printing of first Bible, but, introduction of electronic paper may change the way we read, write, and study. Technical advances in this regard during recent past will change the basic concept of a book and is expected to be a second only revolutionary invention in printing and paper technology from 15th century. An idea which was conceived about thirty seven years back will finally become a commercial reality with world’s first electronic paper production plant. This, no doubt, arises a very important and a concerning issue of its impact on printers and paper manufacturers and that do they really need to fear from e-paper?

E-paper technology was discovered in the early 1970s at Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Centre (PARC) which had been the place of other big inventions like mouse, laser printer, Ethernet, GUI, computer-generated color graphics as well as a number of important computer languages. The need of the technology was felt for achieving a paperless office and the possible solution required to have as many paper properties as possible. Subsequently, Nicholas K. Sheridon came up with that eureka moment which placed the stepping stone of this revolutionary invention. With the constant finding on the technique in last thirty seven years, science had been successful in achieving an e-paper as thin as the normal paper, with ultra-low power consumption and a light form. Due to these regular improvements in the basic idea, many firms came up with their products like LIBRIé from Sony (no more existing in market now), iLiad e-book reader from iRex Technologies' and eFlybook, a product a product aimed at the aviation market that comes pre-loaded with maps, charts and manuals. Now companies like Gyricon (a firm spun out of PARC), Philips Electronics, Kent Displays, Prime View International, SiPix Imaging, NTERA and Nempotic are all working on e-paper that has the power to display updated information.
Two new manufacturers are now toiling for further improvements in technology to unleash its real potential for the commercial market. Cambridge-based Plastic Logic is using a science which is a fusion of chemistry, physics and electronics to create E Ink technology for the future growth of e-paper. Each display is made up of millions of tiny microcapsules, each containing positively charge white capsules and negatively charged black capsules suspended in a clear fluid. When a negative electric field is applied, the white capsules move to the top of the microcapsule where they become visible to the viewer. By reversing polarity of the charge, surface appear dark at that spot. Whereas Nemoptic uses Bistable Nematic (BiNem) technology where content appearing on the screen stays there without using power due to an internal memory effect. It uses nematic liquid crystal materials that are standard, inexpensive and robust.
Technology sounds to have a bright future and the good news is that inventors now know what is exactly needed. Hope to see printed electronics soon at an affordable low cost production.

The Kingdom of Hell !!

Once upon a time, there was a barbaric kingdom. The kingdom was one of its own kind… it was different from many other kingdoms of its times. It had many small provinces being ruled by their own dynamic and competent kings. The kingdom was spreading its perimeters like the jungle fire! It was expanding to win more provinces… and it was expanding fiercely. The provinces within were also increasing their strengths and powers to devour the neighbors and to become mammoths. Day by day, these provinces gave birth to more and more cruel minds who always conspired to rob the other provinces of their wealth, warriors, slaves and army. There was no room for less furious beings. This kingdom and other kingdoms like this ruled the reign of destruction for hundreds of years. Rulers, armies, people suffered and died.

After 2000 years…

Here we are… living in this beautiful, civilized and modern world where we have many sources of entertainment and comfort. But sometimes I think… are we really better than that barbaric kingdom of 2000 years old? Are we not leading the same life under the glittering veil of competition and progress? Today in the field of engineering what I see is that there is a huge kingdom of companies and every company there-in is a province which is always trying to increase the sphere of its business and hence its employee strength. Bigger fish of the market is acquiring the smaller company and continuously trying to snatch the talent from its competitor. Low performers are fired out at the earliest possible for cleaning the filth from the company army. There is a race of becoming more and more skilled and talented, not out of interest or passion, but to keep your place safe in this beastly kingdom of hell.

Out of the above two scenarios, I am not sure about the former if it at all ever existed that way, but the later one is definitely going on this way only.

In the today's barbaric kingdom of companies, we are shown two gates – one has the beauty behind it and the other has the beast. Then we are told what is there behind which door. And then, we are told to open and enter the beast gate willfully or otherwise and deliberately kill the beauty within us. This so happens, because if you dare choose the beauty gate, you seemingly start heading towards the "no" or "risky" career situation. Well its no bad thinking about your career and good family life ahead... but where the beast gate leads us to? The beast gate opens in an arena full of ferocious fighters. We are supposed to be like them as soon as possible. We are forcibly made vehement Engineers capable of doing that particular work only for which they pay us. When you get some free time after killing your immediate enemy, you see your fellow team mates enhancing their skills and sharpening their weapons for the next project!! At this time, even if you try to refresh the thought that some 5 years back you were a painter, singer, actor, writer or anything other than an engineer which you realy were, a haunting guilt feeling of wasting time creeps in and you have to join your team back… to make yourself more dreadful, more skillful and more dangerous for the coming enemies.

…to be continued

Baniya Yo !!

Not that “Yo” though ;) … but still it suits with the name “Baniya” :D. There are quite a few reasons for I am writing about Vikas first of all. These many kinds of deliberate and undeliberate reasons. First one is that I personally feel that he is one out of deckies, closest to me and most true to me and himself and I guess to many people. Then, also his name resembles a lot with that of mine… – Vikas Mittal : Vivek Mittal – only three letter are different !! Then, may be the “non-molad” factor :D. Anyways… these factors only influenced me upto choosing him the first one to write for… and are not going to affect the content of this blog in anyway. Its going to be my true and fair judgement about him and for all the blogs coming after this one for each of my friends, it is going to be the same way. Otherwise also, I feel my analytical skills to be at all time high these days… so better make use of this “era” for analysing my friends and letting them know what I feel about them… lest I may return back to my “normal” state :D. So here it goes…

In one line, what I can say maximum about Bunny is : A harmless creature ! We were together for 4 years in the college. I don’t remember him ever conspiring against any molad with us or saying something and doing something else or taking initiative in torturing the famous targets of Deckies group …he enjoyed joining us though, after anyone of us had started it :D. Consequently, for me, he comes out with the picture of the one who minds his own business (most of the times) and at the same time ready for helping friends. And I don’t know how accurate this is, but I also feel that he understands other people well and more or less clear with what he wants to do with himself. I know many people who know Baniya well may not agree with this last line I have written, and maybe even Baniya himself may doubt it :D, but that’s what I feel and have experienced sometimes. I know that many out of us (Deckies) have their own best friends amongest ourselves, but Baniya…. I don’t think he has ranked us like that yet. He was a class topper and is doing well in his present job also… this gives me strong impression that he might be sincere at many fronts of his life.

Offcourse there are more good and rosy things about his character in this post… because this is written by me and not Avinash Goel :D. Avinash Goel’s story?.... ask Avinash or Vikas or all those fighting in 2nd year hostel that night !! Well, because I have thought of writing everything I understand about my friends in this forum, so I will definitely mention some lowlights of his nature also. One of them is that Baniya, according to my reading, tends to take some decisions out of his frustrations, haste and externals unrecomendable influences. He doesn’t want to apply much of his brains on thinking pros and cons of his actions. I don’t know if he has improved on this or not, but this was a major show stopper bug in his software till we met last. Otherwise the package is a good one to invest on ;) !!

So friends, in comments I am looking for two things: At what points do you disagree with the analysis and for whom should I write next. I plan to write about all of you one by one.

Suggest the title !!

I do not intend it to be vague, but as I don’t have any particular reason or topic/issue to write on, I feel it will go vague. Anyways, that’s not the matter of concern I think… because many vague blog writers are surviving in great spirits on net these days. So I will complete this directionless blog proudly! By the way, this is my first ever blog and so, I don’t expect it to be very addictive or “readership catchy” one, but still it is going to be something from heart. Actually, it many times happens with me… I suddenly feel like to do something out of the course and down the line I end up doing it so much above my expectations that I indulge into it for a period of time. Last such thing which I did was Sketching. And I loved the moment when after seeing my last sketch, one of my colleagues skeptically commented “…so can you show how you give that shading in your sketches?... I mean right now… here …take this pencil.” Some time ago, similarly, I felt like doing a stage performance in my college. It was a talent hunt show for first year students, and I did mimicry of bollywood actors on stage. I won’t say that it was the first time that I was performing on stage, but it was my first mimicry show. When I passed out of my college, I was dramatics secretary of my college. It happens! …and it happens often.

Well, I would say that its not an unusual thing to happen. Success is as common as failures. I can’t (rather I would say I don’t want to) count the number of times I have failed also unexpectedly. Sometimes I feel how uncertain it is. Everything. Even the very next moment! The only thing which seems to be certain is that nothing is certain. You never know when you get that call. “Sir, there is an opening in the top company of your field… would you be interested?” “Hey buddy, I got engaged! Girl? Hehe… you know her… Upasana :).” “Sir, we are calling from yahoo.com… you have won a surprise gift as you registered for our Millionth email id. Please give us your address for the gift’s delivery.” “Yeah… I am there… tell me your roll number. Oh.. man… you have got one supplementary.” You never know! I hardly remember that, when I was a kid, my mom or my dad ever told me, “Chaand me pariyaan reheti hain” (Nymphs live in the moon)… probably I heard this in some of the songs when I grew older, but still I like to believe that Chaand me pariyaan reheti hongi. Because you never know!

But still, I think I know some things. I am 24 now. Single. Away from my house. Away from my country. And there are some arrangements made by someone to keep me alive and kicking. To keep me flying. I wake up in the morning and I find it drizzling… because someone knows I love rains. When I go to my workplace, I find table tennis racquets set gift wrapped on my table… because someone knows I love playing table tennis. When I open my mailbox, I find my best friend’s marriage invitation… because someone knows I need a break from work. When I feel low, miles away from my home, I get a call from mom… because someone knows I need that call. Anyone may wrongly see His “arrangements” like these as too little to keep someone “lively alive”, but believe me, no one needs more than these to live and no one needs infinite of life :).

I told you it will go vague :P. It is so much without boundaries, at least for me, that I can’t think of a title for this. If you have read this post complete and you want to comment anything for this, first of all please suggest a title. And, if you don’t want to comment anything, then also please suggest a title at least :D. And please… I can also think titles like “Vague” or “Directionless”. I am craving for something real. Something Solid!

BRoots ....

Idea for BRoots was conceived in early 2005 when our intelligentsia realised the significance of Printing Engineers in IT industry.
